Great place to stay

Hotel de Verenne is a charming French hotel on a relatively quiet street.  The location was very close to several Metro lines as well as bus lines.  Conveniently located along the street one will find a small grocery store, 2 bakeries, a wine shop, several restaurants of all price ranges and a flower shop.  They don’t mind your bringing food and beverages to your room.  Our room had a small refrigerator.  We enjoyed the fact the location is not in a huge tourist area, so we were able to get a true flavor of Paris.  Our room was a bit small but very clean.  Be sure to bring your own shampoo and lotion.  They do serve breakfast, although it is not included in the price of the hotel room. The staff all speaks English and were very pleasant and helpful.  We would stay there again.
