Loved it, but...

This is a wonderful little hotel. Charming courtyard, great bathrooms, perfect location, high-speed wifi. Two service-related issues that would make it even better: 1) Get “Do not disturb” signs for the doors, so housekeeping doesn’t come knocking at the wrong time; and 2) Have a breakfast buffet instead of full service, or at least add another server. I sat and waited...and waited...and waited...for the one server just to clear the finished breakfast dishes in front of me from the previous guest. She cleared the table next to mine, even though no one was sitting there, but ignored the mess in front of me! So I asked for a menu, thinking she thought they were my dishes. Still no dish removal, let alone a cup of coffee. I finally gave up and left. Since it was a Sunday morning, nothing else was open. Here’s a tip: buy something yummy the day before from one of the many nearby markets and cafes and have it for breakfast instead. It’ll be far cheaper than the hotel breakfast, too. I had a leftover sandwich, which saved the day!
